I don’t want to add more to the ongoing drama and I just want it to be over, but I think we need to redefine the boundaries of what to post and what not to say.
Looking back to some of the posts I made, I realized that some could have been taken not well by the LBD team and it made me feel kind of guilty that it could have hurt them.
The fact is, I love them all and I really am grateful that they are here to share this with us, and I think this is how most of the fandom feels.
But I also know that some of us can get really sarcastic at times, and that sarcasm doesn’t transcript as well on the Internet as it does in real life, and that it can sometimes be misunderstood.
So I’m asking you guys to think before you make a post talking about the team, to think of how they could feel it and whether or not it could be hurtful. Or to add, I don’t know ‘MASSIVE IRONY ALERT’ or something.
(But do not use humor as an excuse to be an asshole because, hey this may be the Internet and it may feel like you’re free to say whatever you want but you’re not. You are talking to real human beings breathing and having feelings and saying nasty stuff about them under the name of ‘But it was to be funny!!!!!’ is not an excuse. It still makes you a douchebag.)
And I’m also asking the LBD team to please just not get too hard on some of us. I understand Ashley and MK’s reactions, as well as Rachel’s, and I do agree with you, but we really don’t mean to hurt you. We all love you and most of us are really grateful for everything you do on the show and we love having you around here.
But we all are human beings and sometimes human beings make mistakes.
And let’s be clear, I’m saying this for both sides.
